We recently caught up with Jonathan Frost from fix-my-pc.net. His company has been trading for over 14 years in and around the Sheffield area. Jonathan offers all manner of computer repairs and IT support. His company has an excellent customer feedback record. Here are his comments/tips for work.
Your perfect working day – When there is a small local business in a pickle who I can help get back to work quickly.
What makes a good boss – A good boss leads by example and doesn't ask an employee to do something they wouldn't do themselves.
What would you tell your 16 year old self? – Have more confidence. Self-confidence and writing down goals are the most important part of anyone's life.
First job – Cleaning cast iron follower plates for the oil industry under Clapham Junction Station
Best job – My current one, running Fix- My-PC.net.
Worst job – Amending and deleting deceased patient records for a local council.
Best thing about the company – We are all very calm and personable.
Tip for people applying for a job – Do your research. Research the company and what work they do to see how you could help their business.
Batman or Superman? – Definitely Batman as he is a little more unorthodox in his approach.
Thanks Jonathan.
