Terms of Business

1. The Service

1.1. 
The service will be provided under the law of England and Wales.
1.2.
Buzz Law Ltd trading as Click Solicitors will provide the service outlined in the Confirmation of Services letter.  No further work will be carried out.
1.3. 
The contract is not entered into until a Confirmation of Services letter or email from Click Solicitors has been sent to you.


2. Cancellation

2.1. 
You may cancel the contract for the service before the service is provided within 14 days of the day after receiving the Confirmation of Services letter or email.  
2.2.
You must inform Click Solicitors of your decision to cancel this contract by email to enquiry@clicksolicitors.co.uk including your name, address and the date of your confirmation of appointment email.  Please find an example of the contents of a cancellation email below:
I give notice that I cancel my contract of sale with Click Solicitors received on [the date of confirmation email from Click Solicitors] for the supply of the Service.

2.3.
A refund will be provided to you on request after deducting reasonable costs incurred in preparing for the Service to you and any handling fee costs when processing your payment and refund.


3. Confidentiality and Personal Details

3.1. 
We will keep a copy of your personal details, a record of the appointment and any other document we have assisted you to draft or complete.  We will also need to retain copies of documents or other evidence you have shown us that is relevant to the advice we give you.
3.2.
Your case file will be kept electronically or on file for six years and one day for legal and insurance purposes after which it will be destroyed.
3.3. 
Two items of ID are required to be provided prior to the service being carried out unless different terms are set out within the Confirmation of Services letter or email from Click Solicitors.  Information relating to your ID will be retained by Click Solicitors for money laundering purposes.
3.4. 
Solicitors are professionally and legally obliged to keep your affairs confidential, however, when a solicitor knows or suspects that a transaction may involve money laundering or terrorist financing, the solicitor may be required by law to make a disclosure to the Serious Organised Crime Agency and may not be able to tell you that a disclosure has been made.
3.5.
Our use of the information you give us is subject to your instructions, the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018 and our duty of confidentiality and you have a right of access to the personal data we hold about you.  Click Solicitors complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018 and our policy can be seen here.


4. Auditing

4.1.
External firms or organisations may conduct audits or quality checks on our practice including in relation to the standard of the Law Society of England and Wales.  These external firms or organisations are required to maintain confidentiality in relation to your files.  
4.2.
Please advise the person responsible for your matter if you would prefer for your papers to be withheld from inspection for these purposes.  Work on your matter will not be affected in any way if you would prefer to withhold consent.


5. Complaints

5.1.
We are sure that you will be satisfied with Click Solicitors and the service that we provide.  We are committed to high quality legal advice and customer care.  However, if you are unhappy about any aspect of the service you have received, please contact us on 0114 209 4208 or by post to Click Solicitors, 7th Floor, The Balance, 2 Pinfold Street, Sheffield, S1 2GU.  
5.2.
We have a procedure in place to ensure that any concerns you raised are investigated.  We have eight weeks to consider your complaint.  If we do not resolve your complaint within this time or you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Legal Ombudsman.  The Legal Ombudsman can be contacted by phone on 0300 555 0333, by email enquiries@legalombudsman.org.uk or by post at PO Box 6806, Wolverhampton, WV1 9WJ.  Normally, you will need to bring a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman within twelve months of receiving a final written response from us about your complaint.
5.3.
We are obliged to advise you that alternative complaint bodies such as ProMediate exist. ProMediate is competent to deal with complaints about legal services should you and our firm wish to use such a scheme. However, we would normally prefer not to engage with anyone other than the Legal Ombudsman.


6. Insurance

6.1.
We have professional indemnity insurance to cover any claim brought by you in the unlikely event that we breach our duty of care to you.
6.2.
Our insurer is Zurich Insurance Plc.


7. Changes to Terms of Business

7.1.
Click Solicitors may vary the Terms of Business from time to time, for example, to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
